Agni Yantra ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you use our KP astrology report generation service at www.agniyantra.in and kundali.agniyantra.in.

1.1 Personal Information (provided by you)

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number (optional), and password (or Google account credentials).
• Birth Details: Full name of the individual, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth (latitude and longitude). This information is necessary to generate KP astrology reports.
• Payment Information: Transaction details processed through Razorpay. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or UPI IDs. All payment information is handled directly by Razorpay.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, report generation activity, and timestamps.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers.
• IP Address: Collected for security, fraud prevention, and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: To generate KP astrology reports based on the birth details you provide.
• Account Management: To create and maintain your user account, manage wallet balances, and process transactions.
• Communication: To send you service-related notifications, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer support.
• Improvement: To analyse usage patterns and improve our Service, features, and user experience.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) infrastructure:

• Database: Account information, report metadata, and transaction records are stored in Google Cloud Firestore with server-side encryption at rest.
• File Storage: Generated report files are stored in Google Cloud Storage with access controls.
• Authentication: Passwords are hashed and managed by Firebase Authentication. We never store passwords in plain text.
• Transit Security: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS).

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Payment Processor (Razorpay):Payment transaction details are shared with Razorpay to process wallet recharges. Razorpay's handling of your data is governed by their own Privacy Policy.
• Astrology API (Vedika): Birth details (date, time, and coordinates of birth) are sent to the Vedika API for planetary calculations. No personally identifiable information (such as name or email) is sent to the API.
• Google Cloud Platform: As our infrastructure provider, Google processes data on our behalf in accordance with their data processing agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Agni Yantra, our users, or the public.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following technologies:

• Essential Cookies: Session cookies required for authentication and maintaining your logged-in state. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.
• Firebase Analytics: We may use Firebase/Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service. This data is aggregated and anonymised.
• Local Storage: We use browser local storage to save user preferences such as language settings.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell tracking data to advertisers.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

7. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

• Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except as required by law.
• Generated Reports: Report data (including birth details and chart data) is retained for as long as your account is active so you can access your reports. Upon account deletion, report data is deleted within 30 days.
• Transaction Records: Payment and wallet transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with Indian tax and accounting regulations.
• Anonymised Analytics: Aggregated, anonymised usage data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

Agni Yantra is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Note that while birth details of minors may be submitted by parents or guardians for the purpose of generating astrology reports, the account holder must be at least 18 years of age. If we become aware that a child under 18 has created an account, we will take steps to delete that account and associated data.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data is primarily stored on Google Cloud Platform servers. While we use the Asia South 1 (Mumbai) region for our primary database, Google may process data in other regions as part of their global infrastructure. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to servers that may be located outside your country of residence, subject to appropriate data protection safeguards.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our platform.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
